Successful Australian-owned company, is seeking an experienced Orchard Manager for an exciting opportunity on a almond orchard development in the NSW Riverina. You will work closely with the General Manger and offsite Horticulturist Specialists.

You should be technically minded with horticultural production experience, ideally in almonds, and in addition to demonstrable enthusiasm for a career in horticulture, you should have:

• experience developing seasonal operational plans;
• the ability to guide staff in best horticultural practice;
• excellent verbal and written communications skills;
• strong leadership skills and the ability to develop staff;
• long term commitment to the success of an expanding orchard development.

You must have a valid driving licence, be computer literate and have a keen sense of humour. An understanding of farm mechanics and tertiary qualifications in agronomy/ horticulture will be a great advantage.

An attractive base salary will be negotiated dependent upon proven experience, and the package will include superannuation, comfortable house, mobile phone and work vehicle.
