Our client is an Australian leader in the growing, harvesting, packing, marketing and exporting of locally grown mangos. With their packing facility, they have a unique capacity to manage and control quality through every stage of production.

A key senior role is available for a dedicated Agriculture Production/ Operations Manager. To join the close-knit management team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the farming and packing shed operations. This challenging role requires ‘hands on' involvement to manage and monitor every aspect of the diverse business, where there is reward for high achievement.

You will ideally be a commercially focussed team player who is patient, resilient and adaptable to change, with outstanding communication skills. Your ability to identify and act on opportunities will be well regarded. Commitment to the future along with your ability to manage daily issues and support the team, will determine your level of success.

To be successful in this role you will more than likely have:

• Farming experience
• Ideal, but not necessary, tertiary qualifications in food, agriculture or agronomy -
• A good understanding of maintenance operations
• A proven track record managing staff and projects
• A minimum of 2 years experience in operation and day to day farm production
• An understanding of QA and HACCP environment
• Skills with computer software like Excel, Word and OutlookYou may currently be involved in the agricultural / food industries with experience in production and growing, so will have the ability to "hit the ground running".
