My Client is an established, progressive and forward thinking company who provide a broad range of food equipment solutions and services to the food manufacturing and retail industries. The equipment includes refrigeration units, oven warmers and rotisseries, coffee machines and many others. Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor you will inspect, verify and commission items of an exciting range of product inventory, prior to delivery to the client. You will also be carrying out installation, electrical repair and maintenance tasks in the workshop, or at the client or equipment location.

You will be conducting training for the client in the operation and daily and periodic "operator" service and maintenance requirements and techniques for equipment installed. You will ensure that all activities and processes are conducted in a safe and effective manner and in accordance with electrical, electronic and general engineering principles and safe and effective work practices. You will also be responsible for the appropriate documentation and recording of work to the right specifications stipulated.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Formal Refrigeration Licence Trade Qualification in Refrigeration discipline is T.A.F.E desirable.

• Essential to have experience with refrigeration units.
• The ability to select and employ the appropriate tools and equipment in a safe manner, without damage or risk to themselves, other workers, the tool or equipment or the apparatus on which they are working.
• A sound understanding of employees' obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety
• Act and general safe working practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to establish and maintain effective empathy and rapport with personnel at all organisational levels, especially with those for whom English is a second language.
• The ability to develop and maintain effective and efficient teamwork and co-operation with other personnel.
• Clean Driving Licence
