The Opportunity
There is currently an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Service Technician to step into this developing role of Technical and Training Manager.Our client is currently looking for a technically minded professional with proven experience delivering technical solutions both over the telephone and on site in response to customer needs.This role is also accountable for the delivery of technical training to new and existing Customers in order to maintain the high quality solutions their product offers.

Our client is the industry leader and premium manufacturer of commercial outdoor cooking appliances and a distributor of park furniture and shelters. They sell to both local government and commercial accounts across Australia and are a well-established business with an excellent working environment.
Duties as a Technical & Training Manager
Offer technical support and customer care to customers for all of the companys products
including installation, decommissioning, repairs, routine maintenance, upgrades and warranty
diagnosis.
Provide technical expertise and support to Sale reps
Develop, maintain and deliver effective training to new and existing Customers
Build the Spare Parts business in response to customer needs.
As a successful Technical & Training Manager you will possess
Demonstrable experience as a Senior Service Technician with exposure to Gas and Electric
units
Be Trade qualified
Excellent analytical and fault-finding skills
Strong customer focus
Exceptional people management skills, including coaching and development
Experience in training
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
Good written and verbal communication skills
Be OHS focussed and compliant
