This key animal nutrition business, part of a major worldwide international group of food companies and prominent in the Australian and New Zealand animal feed markets, manufactures and sells animal feeds and nutrition solutions for commercial poultry, pig and ruminant animals.
Building on an already strong position and striving to develop a world-class business in Australia, there is a vacancy in the leadership position of National Sales & Business Development Manager – Animal Nutrition, reporting to the Commercial Director. This senior management role, in a key division of the business, will involve developing, leading and managing all national sales and business development activities.
Your comprehensive knowledge and experience in the areas of: Sales, B2B interface, Pricing and Trading arrangements, Planning, Business Development Strategies, S&OP, Distribution, Quality, Safety and Personnel will enable you to succeed in achieving the volume, revenue and profit targets of the business.
As a key-influencing member of the National Management Team, you will be closely involved with strategy development to grow the business. As the enthusiastic leader of the Sales Managers team, you will be developing a high performance culture to facilitate the change processes and sales growth strategy across the Australian animal nutrition business.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business, commerce or applied science area
- Senior sales and key account B2B experience
- Commercial drive and presence
- Inspirational and collaborative leadership
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Business analysis and process improvement techniques
- Affinity to agriculture and livestock industries
With agricultural experience, you may currently be working outside the agricultural industry. There is an outstanding potential opportunity for national or international career progression within a few years, upon successful performance in the role.
