Our client is a family owned, boutique Mudgee winemaking company that are devoted to making prize-winning contemporary wines. They are fortunate to have one of Australia's leading winemakers and wine judges as their consultant winemaker. The family were able to select 100 ha of the most suitable soil from their property on which to establish their vineyard. Beginning in 1998, they have planted over 32 ha of shiraz, almost 24 ha of cabernet sauvignon and 12 ha of chardonnay, with smaller amounts of semillon, petit verdot, sauvignon blanc, merlot and barbera. Until 2005 all of the grapes were sold to leading wineries in the region, but beginning in '06 small amounts of chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, semillon, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot were held back for their label. Our client is looking to continue their success in the Sydney market by recruiting an experienced and dynamic Sales Representative. Based in the Sydney office or from your home office and reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for maximising the sales to all sectors of the trade including on and off premise and key accounts. This position requires someone that can work autonomously, you can work as many hours as you please throughout the week. You will have strong business acumen, outstanding communication skills and a proven track record. You will have your choice of territory in Sydney. This role will be ideal for an experienced wine rep looking to take on board a Mudgee wine for their existing portfolio and will also suit a person looking to get back into the industry or a person wanting to get a foot in the door...
