We require the services of a Sales Representative to further develop our client's share of the highly competitive beverage market here in Melbourne. This position involves the sales and merchandising of our client's full range of beverage products and as such requires a person with outstanding sales skills and the ability to cold call and prospect a wide variety of clients, primarily in the route channel. Whilst this is an established territory, the role will involve retention of current business as well as a major focus on new business development throughout Melbourne. You will work closely with our client's distributor. Previous route sales experience is a pre requisite for this role and only those with highly developed sales skills and experience will be considered for the position. Beverage experience whilst not a pre requisite will be viewed favourably, FMCG experience is essential. The key to success is the ability to build good relationships with retail proprietors and identify and convert new business opportunities. You must be enthusiastic, motivated and up for a challenge.
