The role will require strong leadership of a large team where you will coach, inspire and develop those around you. Instilling standards of excellence in a fast paced, high volume sales environment across a broad product range will draw on your retail expertise and people skills. With a focus on retail KPI's including sales, profits, shrinkage and wages you will be responsible for all aspects of "on floor" activity.

Although this is a hands on, lead from the front type role, your success will depend heavily on your people and leadership skills. You will take pride in your performance and your achievements to date, and be looking for an organisation where you can make a real contribution and at the same time be recognized and rewarded for your efforts. Strong communication skills, an appreciation of financial drivers and an attitude that revolves around retail and customer service are all key.

Finally, your background will include 4 - 5 years experience in the management of 120+ staff in a big box retail environment such as Supermarket, Department Store, or large format/big box category killer specialty stores.

A generous salary package circa $125k is on offer for the right candidate plus additional performance based bonuses.
