Are you looking for a stable, long-term Administrative / Client Services opportunity in an expanding and friendly Financial Planning practice (in or near St.Leonards)?....

Your Company:

Our client is a Financial Planning practice in spacious offices in St.Leonards. Due to business growth they are now seeking a 4th member of their team supporting a Senior CFP Financial Adviser (working in an office where there are many other Financial Advisers), to help service their high net worth clients.

They offer clients financial advice covering wealth management, investment planning (including self managed superannuation funds), risk insurance, superannuation and retirement planning, all in a professional, relaxed, no pressure environment.

Your Job:

This varied role is a mixture of providing PA/Admin support to the Senior Adviser whilst supporting clients in your capacity of a Client Service Officer. This includes:

  • Preparation of client Review appointments, ensuring client files are complete and up-to-date prior to the meeting
  • Binding Statement of Advice Documents
  • Ensuring all appropriate Application Forms are ready and available for signature
  • Implementing advice business and following up with investment / insurance providers
  • Communicating progress to the Adviser and to the client
  • Assisting with the smooth running of the business and being prepared to do be flexible in undertaking a variety of job functions, ie., whatever needs doing!).

Job Requirements:

  • Prior Financial Planning industry experience is preferred but candidates with exceptional interpersonal skills with other relevant Admin/CSO experience (preferably within Financial Services) will also be considered
  • RG146 looked on very favourably.
  • Essential attributes include: Initiative, thinking-on-your-feet, being pro-active, efficient and reliable
  • Keyboard/Computer skills: Intermediate Excel and Word; COIN or Xplan experienced looked upon favourably; over 45 wpm
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good multi-tasking, organisational and work prioritisation abilities
  • Being a team player.

A negotiated salary package is on offer in the region of $40-50K + Super and commensurate with experience, qualifications and capacity to do this and any future role.
