Instant Shortlist Terms & Conditions

 

  1. Instant Shortlist is a service of Careers Multilist limited ABN 88 098 952 277 (CareersMultiList). By submitting a vacancy via this service, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  2. To become a registered user, you must provide a password and a login name. You are entirely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password and login name. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your login name. You may change your password at any time by following instructions. You may also change your login by contacting customer service. You may also delete services attached to your registration at your convenience.

    You agree to immediately notify CareersMultiList of any unauthorized use of your login name or any other breach of security known to you

  3. The service is to list your vacancy with CareersMultiList and for CareersMultiList franchise offices to submit suitable candidates via CareersMultiList’s computer systems (the System). The System screens candidates against criteria nominated by you and presents the four most suitable candidates based on data provided by candidates via CareersMultiList franchise offices.

  4. CareersMultiList does not agree to provide any additional services regarding screening or selection of candidates other than that described above. CareersMultiList relies on information provided to it by candidates and franchise offices and does not undertake to assess the validity of information provided.

  5. You may request CareersMultiList to conduct pre-employment referee checks on a candidate.

  6. However, you must rely on your own investigations in assessing the ultimate suitability of any candidate employed by you.

  7. Within 48 hours of you listing the vacancy, CareersMultiList will submit a confidential summary of candidate details to you if suitable candidates are available. If no suitable candidates are available, CareersMultiList will notify you accordingly.

  8. If you’re interested in one or more of the candidates presented, you may request further candidate details.

  9. By providing further candidate details, CareersMultiList is deemed to be the sole agency who has introduced the candidate to you. Should you employ this candidate, in any capacity, during the twelve month period following the introduction, you must pay a fee to CareersMultiList according to the fee schedule appearing below.

  10. CareersMultiList does not guarantee the performance of any candidate selected by you for employment.

  11. Fee Schedule:

  12. Annual full time equivalent salary package of the employed candidate Fee payable

    Less than $50,000

    14% of the salary package + applicable GST

    $50,001 – 80,000

    15% of the salary package + applicable GST

    $80,001 - $120,000

    16% of the salary package + applicable GST

    Over $120,000

    17% of the salary package + applicable GST

    The salary package includes the monetary equivalent of all components of remuneration and benefits, including superannuation, the employee may reasonably expect to receive for acceptable performance in the role employed during the first year of employment with you.

  13. Should you wish to employ any candidate on a contract or casual basis, you must request this service directly with CareersMultiList who will agree separate terms and conditions. Otherwise the above fee rate will apply.
